Going, Going, Gone! Multiple Sold Out Communities in 2016

December 26, 2016

Going Going Gone                 Ann Arbor – The corporate office of Norfolk Homes is proud to announce that three of our finest communities in our growing portfolio have sold out in the first quarter of 2016... Summerfield Glen of Ann Arbor,  West Ridge of Dexter and Chelsea Fairways in Chelsea.   Summerfield Glen of Ann Arbor, located on the south-side of W Liberty Street and west of Maple Road, is home to 130 condo residences in a picturesque setting and private community vibe. The entire surrounding area is seeing a flurry of new growth as well as attention to updating and reviving existing local commercial buildings and businesses while adding new restaurants, stores and conveniences. We love building in this corridor and have also launched Blue Heron Pond Townhomes, located on the corner of West Liberty St and S. Maple Rd. to accommodate the growing population and satisfying the interest in maintenance-free lifestyles in-and-around Ann Arbor.  West Ridge of Dexter, located just north of Downtown Dexter and backing to Hudson Mills Metropark off of Dexter-Pinckney Road, is a community that began development in 2000 and experienced several years of no construction during the downturn. Over the past 5 years several builders participated in completing the community. The result is a neighborhood with a variety of architectural designs. As of July, all of our new homes have closed and all homeowners have moved-in! Another community that was dormant during the real estate recession, Chelsea Fairways, is now 100% built-out and all homes are closed.  Originally developed by Lewiston and Cresitini,  with homes built by A & H Builders and  R. Cook Properties, Norfolk Homes purchased the remaining 32 homesites and began completing the community in 2012. Home values rose significantly during the past 4 years with closeout prices equaling  the earlier peak sale prices of 2004-2005.  With so much success at Chelsea Fairways, Norfolk Homes went down Freer Rd. to the Heritage Pointe Community and we are now nearing completion there as well! West Ridge of Dexter  Summerfield Glen  DSC_0700 There are numerous Norfolk Communities with limited homesite availability as 2016 proves to be a record selling year for new construction.  Gregory Farms of Dexter, for instance, is looking for one more family to build a custom dream home of their choice on a palatial 32-acre lot that includes a private lake. Grass Lake is seeing a surge in population growth and considering the easy accessibility to I-94 and Ann Arbor, low taxes, great schools and estate-sized home sites, we've sold 53 homes out of 55 at Tamarack Glen. Aside from Grass Lake, Jackson County is experiencing growth in Summit and Spring Arbor Township.  Norfolk Homes has only one homesite available at The Preserve of Magnolia Park, located in Spring Arbor Township, and in the Western School District. Our highly sought after ranch condominium community, The Woods at Magnolia Park, located in Summit Township has only 5 remaining opportunities to build a new condominium.   If we don’t offer an established community location in Washtenaw, Livingston, or Jackson Counties that fits your new home needs, please think of us to build your family a custom designed home on your own piece of land. Call our Custom Designed Homes division at 734-249-3186 or email us at Info@Norfolk-Homes.com  today for more information about  our "Build on Your Land" options.

We had our closing yesterday and it was a smooth process. We will like to thank Lisa and the whole team at Norfolk Homes for getting things done on time and thanks for the excellent gift basket.
