Last chance to move to Blue Heron Pond Townhomes in Ann Arbor

August 12, 2019

All good things come to an end. When 2019 is over, the chance to live in one of our beautiful urban townhomes will end as well. It’s your last chance to move to Blue Heron Pond Townhomes in Ann Arbor, and Norfolk Homes wants you to know what you might be missing if you wait too long.

The final 2 buildings are underway. We’ll have 4 new construction townhomes ready for October occupancy. The remaining 8 will be ready by the end of the year, completing the 64 total units planned for Blue Heron Pond. And that’s it.

Our townhome community is located just 1½ miles from downtown Ann Arbor, the university and the medical center, so it’s easy to get back and forth. You can leave your car at home (in the 2-car garage) because Blue Heron Pond is on the AATA bus line, too. It’s also a short walk or ride to shopping, restaurants, breweries, night life, and many other nearby diversions.

Norfolk Homes is offering the choice of 2 floor plans here: The Meadowbrook, which is the middle unit, and The Packard, on each end of the buildings. The plans are virtually identical, with the exception of the bump-out in The Packard’s kitchen, adding 26 more square feet to the 2,068-square-foot Meadowbrook design. If you’re interested in an end unit, there are only 3 left!

These 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath townhomes reflect classic elegance on the exterior with contemporary interior design. The open floor plan is drenched in natural light, accenting the richness of the hardwood floors in the dining room and kitchen. The eat-in kitchen, enhanced with a tray ceiling, will inspire you to get creative—or at least spend more time here. The breakfast bar adds another space for casual dining and also serves as a buffet when you’re entertaining.

Take your pick of granite or quartz countertops in the kitchen without any upgrade cost. Standard features also include stainless steel appliances, a gas range, tile backsplash, and 42-inch, Shaker-style cabinetry finished with crown molding.

Picture yourself in your townhome on a crisp Michigan day, sitting in front of a crackling fire. The fireplace is also an included feature in every Blue Heron Pond townhome. Just beyond the fireplace is your private deck. Step outside in any season and enjoy the view and the fresh air.

As you might expect, the attention to detail continues to the bedrooms. Sunlight streams through the large window into the master suite, also with a tray ceiling in the bedroom. You’ll appreciate the oversized walk-in closet and the beautifully tiled and equally oversized, walk-in shower.

There’s one more bedroom on the second floor, with its own full bath. The third floor space (with the third full bath) can be another bedroom, guest room, a home office, study, loft, man cave, studio, rec room, or whatever you want it to be.

Living in one of Norfolk Homes’ townhomes is purposefully designed for comfort and convenience. The built-in cubbies in the entry, for example, give you a space to keep things organized in style. The second-floor laundry (washer and dryer included), between the master suite and another bedroom, eliminates the need to carry laundry up and down the stairs. And the storage closets by the 2-car tandem garage and lower level entry will help you keep this area tidy, instead of cluttered with stacked boxes.

The same ease applies to the exterior. When you live at Blue Heron Pond Townhomes, snow removal and lawn care are handled for you. The low-maintenance deck doesn’t require annual re-sealing. The exterior’s HardiePlank and brick siding will remain beautiful with no painting. Use all the time you’re not spending on maintenance for something far more enjoyable!

Luxury, convenience, comfort, and style—they’re all waiting for you at Blue Heron Pond Townhomes in Ann Arbor, but not for long. Prices start in the upper $300,000s. At this price point, and with the quality, amenities, and location, the last 12 townhomes will not be available much longer.
