Need a Home Now? Learn About Our Quick Move-In Program

February 23, 2021

When Norfolk Homes sets out to start a new community, we take a number of factors into consideration. We think about the location first, looking for convenience and a unique setting where homeowners can create a life for themselves. Then, we carefully select a handful of our innovative floor plans that bring energy efficient design to each community no matter the shape or size of your new home. Through our Quick Move-In program, you get the benefits of choosing a home designed by our experienced staff without the stress of making each decision for yourself. Many homeowners offer quick move-in homes, but we will outline below a few reasons why you should trust Norfolk Homes to help you find the right one for you.

Flexible to your timeline

A quick move-in home accelerates your timeline because it’s already under construction or almost completed when you start looking. We offer quick move-in homes in our communities as a courtesy to buyers who want a new home, but are on a shorter deadline. This is a great option for many buyers, whether they’re moving to the area from out of state, or are a local looking for a new-construction home on a tight schedule. By selecting a quick move-in home, families are able to move in faster and skip some of the numerous details of a personalized build while still getting the other benefits of a new-construction home—like energy efficiency, smart home technology and new home warranty.

Built with input from the experts

Although early decisions like site selection and floor plans are already made, buyers can rest assured that our experienced team took time to consider each choice based on the latest trends from our buyers. For example, floor plans featuring flexible spaces that can serve as an office or additional bedroom are still popular with many homeowners working remotely, so our designer will choose plans that can accommodate this. If a home is closer to completion, Riley King, Norfolk Homes’ Interior Designer, will select features and finishes to complement the community, region and current design trends.

As with our personalized projects, each quick move-in home will include our smart home technology and energy efficient design that conserve energy and save you money throughout the life of your home.

New homes available now

Norfolk Homes builds condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes through the Quick Move-In program in Washtenaw, Jackson, and Livingston County. Current options are available in the cities of Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Hamburg Township, and Jackson. If you are ready to set up a tour of one of these homes, contact us or use the Nter Now option for a self-guided visit. Many homes also offer a virtual tour option for your convenience.

Overall a great experience completing in a rush. Selection process was easy and very pleasant experience.
